Standard Setup for TCP/IP Networks

 

*Make sure that the machine is plugged into the network & properly linked.*

*The following my vary a little between models.*

  1. Start by locating the UserTools button on the operation panel of the copy machine and press.

  2. Now on the screen press locate printer features and enter.

  3. Press the Gonfig. Page icon.

  4. With the Configuration Page printed out locate the host name normally found on the lower right hand of the page.

  5. With the host name click the Next button and follow the instructions. Next

 

*Note* The instructions are for Windows 2000/XP/2003 for Windows 98/ME or Windows NT go to the download page and download HP Standard Port Monitor, install it and then you will see HP standard TCP/IP Port in place of Standard TCP/IP Port in the instructions.
